...Procrastination

What is it about doing what we're supposed to be gets put off, and just about anything else looks like more fun? Let's see....there's a sink full of dishes, ugh. Oh look, the toilet needs scrubbing. I'll do that instead.

You see, I have a group of wonderful ladies coming to my Studio on Saturday. I need to prep the supplies for the project we are going to create. What do I do? Anything! I mean anything; ok maybe not scrub the toilet or wash the dishes because lets be honest crafting comes before housework in the dictionary, as it should.

Don't get me wrong, I've been very busy. I got my completed cards and swaps sorted. I changed several swaps into full cards. I've stamped envelopes to go with the birthday cards I'm going to send out this month, put together a welcome packet for my new recruit.

I have done a lot, but not the thing I'm supposed to do. And that isn't the only thing I'm avoiding, I still have a list a mile long of things I have to do. So why is it that I'm avoiding what I need to do and do anything else? It's a strange rut to be in, and one I would like to get out of.....eventually. ;-)
